We've had a "Q" for 8 or 9 years.....it's great, especially with the optional griddle for eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns, or whatever. Another really nice thing is that Weber is made in the U.S., and replacement parts are available if needed....

I can't speak about the Coleman grill but I have a Q1200 that I'm very happy with. The more I use it the more I like it. Here is a YouTube video I did shortly after I purchased it.

Hey Wesair, great video review. I enjoyed it. I'll look for your other videos. By the way, I see that the video was shot near Albert Lea and that you're from Fairmont. I'm a Minnesotan too. I'd love to get together with you sometime.

We have been using a Q1200 for about 4 years. It works great. We like the temp gauge and electric ignition. We also like the fold out shelves which are plenty sturdy, but a little slippery. The top is domed a little higher than the base model which could cost a little space when storing. Soon after using the Q for the first time we purchased the weber 6501 adaptor hose so we could hook directly to the on board propane tanks. No conversion or modification needed, just plug and play. I set the propane selector on the trailer to use one bottle to power the trailer and disconnect the other and hook it to the 6501 hose. This little Q gets up to 300 - 350 F, but cooks very well. In contrast, our weber Genesis at home goes up to 700 F if needed. If the wind is blowing hard the unit will not get up to the usual temp, so use something to create a wind block. The portability and ease of use can't be beat. We have the folding portable stand which works well.

Weber 'Q'
We have a Weber Q that travels with us, and is our main grill at home. I've had it for several years now. I have replaced the cast iron grate 2x, and the burner once. Parts were readily available on line. I think it heats up quickly, the cast iron grates are super for searing steaks, and it's rather efficient with fuel. We use the 1# canisters when camping and cook on it daily. The fuel canister usually lasts 5+ days. We can either take the top lid off and store it in the front of our pusher, or just leave it assembled and store it next to the bed when on the road. I use a box lid to sit it on, and a canvas cover. It's too tall to fit in any of our under-storage openings. My brother-in-law has had the Coleman for a couple of years, and he likes it. I haven't heard him complain about rust. Personally, if something would happen to the Weber Q, I would replace it with the same thing.

Tried a bunch and the best for multi-function and portability is the Volcano. Get the oven cover!

+1 to volcano grills.
Three fuel sources
1. Propane
2. Charcoal
3. Wood
Also can be used as a portable fire at any camp site. It's on my 'to buy' list so no review of use yet.
Currently have a coleman briefcase style grill as previously mentioned, but mine is a grill all the way across, no single range burner, all grill.

I converted my Q recently to work off of the camper LP port, 20lb cans, and still use the smaller cans you can buy from walmart (and other places). All the parts you need are in the video below.
