Keep A Kamper Michigan AS moho owners here?

Hi: We're new to the AS ownership and are loving it so far. The help from this site has already been invaluable.

While dropping off our 280 in Warren, MI today at Keep a Kamper, we saw two Classic Airstreams, one a 310 and the other said "Classic" on the side.

Are the owners on Airforums? If so, we'd love to hear from you, especially with regard to parts, service, propane filling, and so on. The two coaches we saw were nice, as were the few other AS trailers we saw, they looked beautifully maintained, and we'd love to pepper you with questions. We even saw an Argosy parked there.

We pick her back up on Sunday or Monday to head to the mothership in Ohio.

Thanks,
Audrey

Hi Swanky
Welcome to the Forums. Let me be the first to invite you to the Detroit-Metro Rally which is a AirForums Rally at Milans, KC Campground on July 31 . Its listed in the Rally section at the bottom of the page.
Last yr was our first time after purchasing a AS the fall before. We had a blast. With a tour of every trailer there including a Curtis-Wright from the 50's and AS from the 50's and 60's . More food that you could shake a stick at.AND wonderful people. So come on out. We would love to see ya there. All are welcome, there are no fees, except for the campsite. Just be prepared to bring food for the potluck.
Roger

Can't make this year's Detroit rally

but we hope to make it next year. We will be in Rochester for my husband's grandmother's interment. There's no way we can make the Detroit rally no matter how we try to arrange it--believe me, we tried. We will be at the KOA at Canandaigua outside or Rochester, NY. I'm hoping to hit another area's rally this summer for the experience you described.
Thanks for the info, maybe we'll meet up sometime to swap ooohs and aahhhs.
Thanks,
Audrey

Sometimes it happens and we have not control over it. Hopefully we will meet sometime this summer. We have camped with this Detroit=Metro crew at least twice last year and had a great time at both. We are looking forward to it again. Sorry ya have to miss it.

Thanks, we'll look for you!

We're heading to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes for the Fourth. The first night we plan to park inconspicuously but with permission at Walmart in Traverse City and then try to get into the non-reservable campground at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. We only have reservations for one night that weekend, Sunday night, at Traverse City State Park, so we're simply hopeful we'll find something on the fly. If not, being self-contained is a great bonus.
Thanks again for the invite, and please feel free to let us know of any future Detroit Metro events, we'll try hard to make it next time.

Good idea!

I'll take my camera and get pictures of the ones parked there. I wish I could find the owners, I want all the Detroit Metro area info on AS that I can find. I should be able to post the photos either Monday or Tuesday--check back. The "Classic" one still has white covers on the tires and looks like it's been sitting a while, but the one marked 310 looks like it's been used recently and is right near ours.
We're off to Jackson Center on Monday--wish me luck!
Thanks,
Audrey

Mike--what is the one that is not the 310--the one that just says Classic? It's huge!

The last of the breed; It's a 36 footer. Not many around. Sold for around $125,000 with gas 454, add $20K
for the Cummins 190 or 230 hp pusher with Allison trans. I think that was '96?
