See my previous post on winterizing. We do it with five fifths of Vodka. Doesn't take long either.

The vodka trick really works...I use two of the big bottles of "on sale", pour them in the tank(this usually gets at least one passer by stopping), and when the water begins to foam coming out of the faucet-it's done. I do jack the front end up to purge the system before the winterization...

Super - it looks great and we'ld like to see more photos of the inside. We really like the airstream stipe on the "toad." We divided ours into the sunroom, living, galley, head and state room! Something about it makes you want to have fun! Good luck and hope to run into you some day. Where's the photo of you using your doorbell?

The Argosy Motorhomes (at least the early ones) used 8 lug wheels front and rear. They are the same 16" wheels used on Chevy dually pickups.

Well, we were getting ready to head out to Death Valley. We were just cleaning things up a bit when I discovered a leak... Just a little one, or so I thought.
Now the toilet is sitting on the driveway. The optional sprayer was leaking and the floor around it was wet and the wood rotted.
Well, it has been removed and the wood as well. Looks like iA will be replacing the toilet real soon.... Oh, yea, did I mention, the air horn doesn't work?

That Is One Sweet Ride!

Tim and Kimber,

Congratulations on the your new addition.

The car is sweet, as in super cool! Just when you were thinking, "How much is it going to cost to repaint and customize the Hummer?" No need-your ride has already been pimped!

Have a great and safe trip home.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Classic motorhome ownership .

They are maintenance hogs but worth every penny you spend on them. The good news is once you fix the neglected areas and keep it maintained properly the work load drops considerably. We've gone through this our selves with our 310.

Hate to tell you this but on my rig it isn't an air horn. It's a fake. It really is electric.

Guess what - that is exactly what happened to us with our 89 345LE. We ordered a new toilet valve and then disconnected the optional sprayer due to difficulty getting to it to fix the leak there. The next thing to happen was a leak behind the shower - $200 later, it was repaired and in the process we found behind the stove which had to be pulled to locate the leak - a skeleton of a monster mouse/rat! And the airhorn still doesn't work. Are we still having fun? You bet.

BTW - I should mention that Doorgunner was able to extract or reduce 2 endcap dents using a propritory method that I have sworn never to tell how he did it.

So, what will it take to loosen your tongue . There are a lot of us running around with dents in our end caps and would LOVE to hear of a good solution to fixing them

That - I will leave to Doorgunner. Once he patents and licenses the methodology, I am sure you all will be able to buy in.
Actually - he is the best person to describe the process, not me. I am sure it will not work for all dents, but many.
