Is this a "Univolt" Charger/Converter?

On my list of questions is what type of 12V Converter is in my 345...
Seems I have a Fortron SRV620P100B 45A unit under my sink...
I looked it up here on the forum and no mention of it.
I did find out that airstream call all the converters "Univolt", so is this the original unit or a replacement?

I could not find the exact unit, but did find the data sheet for the "SRV" model family...

Is it any good?

It's a replacement unit. I've never seen one in an Airstream (and don't remember seeing it in an SOB, either) before, so it's not all that popular. As long as it does what it's supposed to, and doesn't boil the batteries, I'd leave it alone. Sometimes the more obscure products tend to be more reliable, since they aren't cranking them out by the gazillions.

Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy, and taste good with ketchup.

Since I looked at the spec sheet and it was dated 2006, I figured it was a replacement.
My longer term plan would be to replace it with a 3 stage charger and inverter like a Xantrex. It will do til then!

Hello Keyair

West marine has some of the best information concerning inverters and combination's of wiring batteries, charging and battery switches, etc. etc.

You may want to order a catalog or visit one of their stores.

Overlander63 is also well versed
