I wonder what kind of mileage this guy gets

I don't remember where I ran across these pictures but I've often wondered what kind of gas mileage he gets and whether he has any cooling problems.

Is this a classic case of hoarders?

I think the most amazing thing is the fact that he's pulling a toad

I wouldn't be surprised if the mh frame isn't bowed like a banana from all the front and rear overhung weight. Now that would cause a lot of rivet popping

I wonder if we will get a "My 454 is running hot... any ideas why?" thread....

That Toad setup is scary and unsafe in my opinion!

Yup. Had "that stuff" staring at me a while.

As to that moho, imagine what it must be like in a crosswind and the big trucks rolling hard.

If this wasn't a staged photo (I'm not so sure), I wonder if the folks are sill alive or have made the honor roll in the archives of the Darwin Awards!

A comment from another forum in answer to "The Darwin Question":

Yep. When I first saw those pictures I thought they were just traveling together then I noticed in the first picture that the toad has a tow bar in front and then I saw tow ball in back of the motorhome and thought WOW.

My real concern is braking. Hopefully he has toad brakes installed because if he doesn't he's stopping one heck of a load with just the factory brakes

Pulling up behind that 'rig' on the road would sure give me cause to get around him and out of the area as soon as possible...!
