Guy99 and others - the OE jacks in 1983-84 were made by A&E - that company was bought out by Dometic some years ago, and the jacks are no longer made or supported (no parts no service). The HWH corp is extremely helpful and very nice about it, too. I now have new springs and the darned fool things work fine!
Moral: If you have hydraulic problems go to HWH first!!!

Jamie- Thanks for the info in post #16. Sometimes getting over the first hurdle is the toughest. Nice to know where to start.
