Horn help.

I want to replace my worn-out roof trumpets, any clue where they can be purchased? They are "Sparton" model "U". Thanks, M

I have those very horns, only one works at this time. I did see a nice set at Camping World that would work but personally, i was not able to find the Spartans.... I tried Ebay and a few of the more known parts dealers. I also searched Google but didn't come up with anything.

Check out marine stores there are much better horns out there for boats than cars/trucks.
I plan on T-ing into the air gage on dash and installing a air solenoid so that the sound will be a bit more throaty! If you are a big horn user I would not suggest doing this as you will deplete your air but the occasional 1sec blast is not even going to be noticed. The cheep pumps are no good so do not buy one of them it sounds like a dying cat as it gets up to presser!
here is a link to some air/electric trumpets that are Stainless Steel.

I did the exhausting seach too, but I did come up with a set I think Im going to buy, they fit on the existing Sparton mounting hardware. They are made by Wolo, called "The Persuader", no air needed, like our original Spartons. They are available from "Auto Barn", their # WOL120. Just over a $100 for the set. Click on "Wolo horns".

Thanks for the link, Mike...the PO of our unit mounted a pair of plastic(yes, plastic) airhorns under the hood...the Spartans are still up there, but I get more attention yelling than they will...it will be nice to gain attention, again, with the push of a button...m
