help with toilet

Need to replace the toilet in my 79 Excella Motorhome, 28' with center bath. It seems like all the models I've found are too wide. Anyone have any experience with this problem? This is a continuation of my previous problem of access to a leak. Thanks in advance for any help. Joe

Thanks Balrgn. The width can't be more than 15 5/8", since the dearly departed original touched the bulkhead on one side. It sits on the tank which comes up 7 1/2 " into the room so it must be a low profile. E-bay sure looks like a good possibility. Thanks for the "heads up". Joe

I'm letting Camping World in Myrtle Beach figure it out for me tomorrow. I'm hoping that the Aqua Magic Lite fits and the high profile will take the spacer to make it even higher.
I'll let you know how it goes. It is said to be 16" wide. Makes you wonder if it's 16" plus or minus a half inch?

We had the same size issue and found that the sealand traveler lite model fit. It's a china toilet and comes in 2 heights and several colors. We ordered it. You can view the specs here. It's been great - no hassles.

Well it was an interesting experience at Camping World this trip. The Aqua Magic head I had selected did not match the flange bolt layout of the exitisting Thedford. So after careful consideration of what they had in stock I ended up with a Bravura. It did not meet my expectation of a china bowl but so much for expectations.
Later that day I noticed that the lid had abrasions from packaging or transit and also was not very happy with the job done on carpet trimming.
I returned early this morning and after a very flat affect from the counter staff the service manager and installations tech did some further work on the carpet and ordered a new lid for the unit.
Bottom line is that it is nice to have a working toilet once again!! And I'm glad that I had choices, though limited by inventory, due to being at the store rather than ordering and having to return units that did not fit.
