I think I figured out what is causing the wires to heat up in the heater/AC unit. I think there was originally a condenser as part of the main radiator/CAC unit that was replaced with one up front with a fan. The fan is wired into the head unit, and I think it's pulling a lot of amps. A relay should fix that.

Unfortunately, I've found a lot of sins like that on mine. Haven't started going through the 94 yet.

The floor is real teak and holly (maple) planking in 3/8". It's not cheap and a lot of work to install. I glued it down with marine epoxy, then sand and polyurethane. I did find a source about half the price of Jamestown Distributing.

A little duct tape will cover that up nicely

Unfortunately that type of work is all to common of an occurrence on these coaches

Is that 2 Alpine PDX amps stacked in that radio hole in the dash?
I see the Pioneer subwoofer.

The soundproofing material is from Cascade Audio Engineering and called VB-TSM. Nice quality, and looks the exact same as what I took out. Nest pricing out there, and they ship panels rolled up via UPS.

Good catch on the amps. There is also an Alpine PXA-h800 sound processor to get a better line level output and it will auto calibrate the space. I am modifying an Apple AirBase that will plug into the Alpine so anyone with an iPhone can join the network and play music from their phone. Seriously great sounding system!
