Getting it done...

Well, there it is ladies and gents. I have decided to give the exterior of my moho the same treatment -- aka - complete make over... we shall start with polishing. This is phase 1 of the exterior redo.

Will post more pictures as we move forward.

Very nice! I thought it was a late 80's 345 but wasn't sure. I have a 91 350 so it will give me a good idea of the polishability of the aluminum. I have heard that the later years had a different grade of surface aluminum in the alloy and therefore would polish but not great.

Off to read your blog and get ideas!! We are just starting out restoration so any advice and pics on what you have done/are doing would be great!

Haven't had time to put them up. May go over today and take some. It pretty much looks identical to yours!

Sorry "looked" prior to updates.... Don't know if I have that much fortitude in me to do a total gut job... But the year is still young. I have been toying with the idea of making the front the bedroom and the back the observation deck (ie sitting area). Would be far more pleasant when in a camp ground and has better views.

Well -- I too thought about that setup -- BUT I think that if you made the bedroom upfront, you would have to kind of go through it every-time you wanted to drive ... and everyone who came in to hang would have to see it as well...just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I thought of that as well which is why we would probably go with a Murphy bed and two bulkheads on either side just forward of the door. Than an accordion door between the two that can be closed during normal camping use closing the front of the coach off. So the living area would start Just aft of the door with a redone dinette seating area. Would like to make that a more usable space that could double as a work area as well.
