Genset spark plugs

Not sure if this should be here or in the mechanics section but.....ive searched quite a bit and cant seem to find the following;
Correct spark plugs for my 1983 onan, 6.5, genset. Ive searched and keep getting conflicting answers. The plugs that were in it were two different brands, one a thin wire and one standard, i assume thats not correct! Please help!

I have the smaller 4 KW Emerald Plus BGE and I think it takes 167-0263 (Onan number) plugs. It's a horizontally opposed F-head twin running on LP gas.

Well.......im afraid i gave some wrong info on those plugs. For my genset model 6.5nh-3cr/16004p, which is propane fueled, the correct plugs are champion rs17yx. Sorry about the wrong info there. Not sure if those others were for the gas motor or not but they were not correct. The rs17yx should be gapped at .025. Installed with new plug wires and air filter and the genset is running great. Sorry again about the wrong info!
