Where Tony uses demons, magic and high tech to hide his valuables I've found a much simpler method...chaos.

My shop is such a chaotic mess I can't find anything in it. I figure if I can't find it then it's likely no one else can either

The slide bolt looks exactly like the keeler on my Excella. I got a replacement less than a year ago from Vintage Trailer. I also got a replacement handle made from stainless from a forum member. I will try to find him if you need. Sal

Thanks Sal, I got the replacement handle installed but would love to get hold of the slider.

Sal, thanks for posting the slide info! I just checked and sure enough Vintage Trailer Supply has the slide listed on their website for $24.50.

Not a bad price for something critical to keeping your door locked.

Looks like they also sell a reproduction pull handle for the Keeler lock. Priced at $23 which isn't bad either.

Thanks!

Brad

No, I was just bored this morning and decided to see what I could find!

Is that your entry door latch? I don't recall seeing any other classic with that particular latch installed.

Kinda looks like a lock a nuclear missiler would use......Steve to the girlfriend " Insert key! On three, two, one, TURN!"

How many different locks have people use with these coaches? What next, one of those number punch locks?

Knowing Steve that wouldn't surprise me!

In all the pictures I've seen of these coaches I've never seen Steve's lock in use before. But then Sonia's latch assembly turned out to be something different as well. What baffles me is Steve's coach is 84 model and it should have had a Keeler latch assembly.

Just when you think you have things figured out Steve has to throw a monkety wrench in the works
