Electric dump valves

Does anyone have any experience with these? I need to replace my dump valves, and being somewhat lazy was liking the idea of dumping via a pushbutton.....

Won't you still have to hook up a hose?

I had one on my 5th Wheel. It was installed lower than the manual valve on my grey tank. I would open the manual at RV resort with sewer line connected, and dump the grey whenever it got to 80% from inside the rig. Then close it.
It was nice, especially with kids and adults showering and dishes constantly being washed.
I am not a fan of leaving the valves open while connected.

They come in handy when you have a tailgater. Sal

Why do I have a mental image of someone mistaking their toad for a tailgater....Oh crap what a hellava mess. Oh well, the wife will clean it up.

Cheers

Bill, do you mean something like a macerator pump system?
The 345 I owned had one. It would work great if it didn't blow the fuse. Then I had to crawl under the RV and replace it. A lot of solids like excess TP can blow the fuse. I eventually moved the fuse to a more convenient location.
You still have to hook up a hose and clean it out after you use it. The advantage is that the hoses are not as rippled as the slinky. The disadvantage comes when the pump fails and you have a full tank
