Door handle finally broke

After years of jerking and pulling on our door handle it broke this week. The key is marked tri-mark but I have had Little luck with them in the past. The latch is for an 89 and is not the same as earlier models I have seen posted. Any help would be great.

Hello, Oliver00 - A/S used to have replacements but they were the same old stuff - suggest looking for something outside the Airstream envelope. The door handle is not a difficult replacement, even with modifications to fit a non-OEM part. Good luck.

The Bargmann L-300 works great as a replacement.

What actually broke?

I have replaced the spring once and rewelded to latch once. But what broke on yours. Picture would be great.
