Dark Green wire headlight harnes?

There is a wire that has me stumped if any one knows would love help.
It is not a turn sig. That is all i know.

I assume it goes tot he connector you are holding in the first picture. If so want are some of the other wires in that connector. Factories generally group similar systems in a connector. Again I assume you have tested it for battery voltage.

Take an OHM meter and ohm it to ground. That will at least tell you if it has a load on the other end. If it is open is there a trailer hitch connection at the rear of the MH?

The wire is part of the head light wiring harness and the trailer harness is part of the tail light harness. I check it and it pulls no load when hooked up to +power (dc). There is a relay in the loop so I think it may be some kind of flasher but not for the front turn sig or the rear......
I am stuck I hope Andy from inland RV can help. Or some one that has had the inner skin off one of these and seen were that Green wire go's.

Consider hooking a length of wire to it at the cab end and taking that wire, out the window, to the trailer hitch and OHMing out each terminal in the trailer hitch for continuity. If you find continuity the position of that terminal in the trailer connector will tell you what the wire is for.

Disconnect the ground post on the battery before testing to protect your meter.

The Airstream service handbook lists that a Green wire running off the lighting harness feeds the Aisle lights...... That might explain why no feed... unless the Dash switch is on?

Oh, and also the Chev Manual says a green wire feeds LH Brake Lamp, and blinker.
My guess would be based on how it looks, its an Airstream wire, not a Chevy Chassis wire...

EDIT:.... I got that from the 1987 Airstream service manual.... Section G16... also it shows the Deadbolt feed as having a Green wire!

A power probe is the best circuit tester ever it will pay for itself 1st time used.

if you don;y have one make a jumper wire & put a ATC fuse in line & make it hot & see what lights / powers up if nothing then you case everything else until you locate the circuit.
