Tony, your talking about the one I have right here as a permanent tool in my motorhome kit! The one with the Matco Tools logo on it. I got a real good deal on it too being a Matco Tool Distributor. Hopefully that doesn't make you jealous!

Yes, I know its only the Power Probe III, but then since I don't have fuel injection, cam and crank sensors, etc. on my old 454, I didn't need the IV with pulse width diagnostic mode for here. Don't worry though, I do have the IV available to me in my tool truck anytime I may need it. I also have on hand the short/open circuit tester...hope to get the chance to use it some day.

Hey, just having some fun!

Got a great deal off Bobmiller.

What has always amazed me is how you guys always put your logos on items that you don't manufacture..... It's hard to tell what you actually manufacture......in any event had you made it to the "get-together" a couple of years ago i provided power probe iii to all the guys who wanted them at cost, we don't make them so we don't put our logo on them......kind of false advertising don't you think ??? In any event the power probe iv would be absolutely useless to any of us except for the boys with the 91 and on with the electronic fuel injection.....just really wasting you money on the iv......regards, bob

OK, OK, OK, juvenile at best, no malicious intent to ANYONE! Just a futile attempt at some humor to lighten the "tool battle"! I apologize. Please feel free to post poor humor on my thread.

(happy new year anyway)

Yeah, Mike that was just straight out horrible, inexcusable and most likely against forum rules And then, to top it, you have the decency to apologize for not trying to offend anyone!! Man, some people should look at you as a role model!!!

Happy New Year!

Time again for a new vacuum cleaner. Nothing seems to last and nothing seems have much power...welcome to modern times I guess. Oh Kirby how I miss you! Ok enough sulking! What are folks using these days? Need something small and powerful!

Dean, we shelled out the bucks for a Dyson back in 2004 and Lynn says it's still as good as new. I recently saw they've come out with a cordless model that's smaller. We bought one for our daughter also and she loves it. They are pricey but powerful and we've had great luck with longevity. I think in the $500 range these days but they last. Parts are easy to get also. We did replace the hose on ours.

I know, I know...vacuum cleaner discussions aren't very sexy. Glad to hear the Dyson lives up to the hype, but they are way out of my budget these days. So I decided to just go with what I know works! Oh, just replace Wilma with me, but I can't show you a pic of that since I usually vacuum in the morning before I raise the blinds! Ha Ha!

Ditto on the Dyson. We bought a cordless Dyson which has multiple hand brush and short nozzles attachments and a standup tube with a hard floor head and a separate power rotating carpet head. It is very easy to grab and throughly cleans our classic 33 three times easily on one charge. Then it takes about two hours to charge and is ready to go again. Note: the dysons have see through (not bag) dust bins that are very effective and you will be shocked to see how much dirt collects in your trailer every day.

OK, so this is coming from a Brit....home of the Dyson.

In the last 10years we have owned 6 different models, each supposedly better than the last, and each get consigned to the 'waste of space, see if we can give it away' pile within a year. The latest to join that list is a DC50, which is currently sitting in our garage awaiting someone that can find a use for it.

The only one that we have kept during the demise of the others is one of their early cordless models that is great for cleaning the stairs and for in the MH/car. IMO the rest are hyped up junk, and out-performed by an entry model Karcher WD2 (which costs about $70 in the UK)

Water pressure regulator

I need some recommendations on water pressure regulators. I'm using the type that are external and screw onto the water hose.

We have very high pressure here and the one I have (see pic) restricts the water to the point that I don't get any pressure at the galley sink. I've read reviews in the past that have said "most" of these are no good. Any out there that actually work?
