If I ever get my Argosy on the road I'm going to have to make a trip out that way. It's been way to long since I've traveled west of Nebraska

The Constitution grants me the freedom "from" religion. The NRA grants me the right to own a gun...oh wait, that's the constitution as well. And, the Constitution grants me the right to run my generator at the campground in Yosemite from 5-7pm!

Ok, ok! Just mess'n with the generator police! But to the generator police, nothing grants you the right to fill my motor home with the sounds of your screaming kids nor your campfire smoke!

Just poking a little fun!

Oh what another awesome day in Yosemite!

Gotta say there's nothing quite like the smell of some burning wood at night when you're out camping; assuming it's not from a forest fire.
The screaming kids on the other hand….. not so much.

It's all good, especially when I can look out the windshield and see Half Dome!

Would it be ok to toss little stones at their feet?

I think the difference is, as a kid if I was being obnoxious my parents pretty soon put me in my place. Nowadays parents seem to like it when their kids are annoying others as it means they aren't annoying them!

Every time I ever threw a stone or a snowball, I either hit someone in the eye, or the ear, or broke a window, or dented a car. Even when a bunch of us were involved, it was always me that hit the target, and caught hell for it.
To this day, I still have to consciously fight the urge to throw anything at anything. I could have been a major leaguer.

Experience tells me that even if you aim at their feet, you'll end up hitting one of them in the head!…… not saying they don't deserve it.

It's interesting that the same Constitution says where those rights come from.

But I agree, "religion" has caused lots of problems through the ages.

If you're trying to tell me that those rights come from your God or your religion, you are sorely mistaken. Maybe it's time for some to actually read the Constitution!

Ahh, the wonders of Yosemite! I just looked skyward and saw the largest "shooting star" that I have ever seen.

My partner and I usually come to Yosemite in November to celebrate our anniversary, 21 years now, but came a month earlier this year to be with family. One couldn't ask for better weather!

The campgrounds in the valley are full and the diversity of people and families is a wonderful thing to see.

Around every turn is a new sight and even if I've seen it many times before, it is still amazing!

Well another week to go!
