Speaking of leaks, time to tackle the shower leak...again.

What would you suggest for a replacement of the valve if I decide to replace it?

Oh the joy of trying to find something that will match. The only thing I can suggest is start googling pictures of bath/shower valves and see if you can find something that looks similar or matches. I've had to do a lot of that over the years as I've rebuilt my Argosy.
It might be worth the effort to take the valve to a good plumbing house and see if they have any suggestions.
Good luck!
Brad

I joined the U.S. Space Force so I thought it appropriate to convert the MH!

I have to laugh at myself. We had these scrapers on our internal sales site and I thought I could use a new set
to use on the MH, trailers, ATVs etc. Well that will teach me to not check out the specs for the size. I suppose I could find something to use the large scrapers on...maybe the bottom of the storage bins that have been rusting for 30 years! Ha ha!

Occam’s Razor and windshield leaks! I think it is clearly obvious to me now where the A pillar rain water leak is. What is it about human nature that we dismiss the simple and obvious?
It looks like the Grand Canyon under the driver’s side windshield gasket. I don’t think the small tube of sealant I have will go far but I’m going to give it a try. I’m sure it will begin raining before I get back up here in another month so I have to do something.

My Argosy had the same huge gaps. I used a special sealant designed for the task. Came in a tube used in a standard caulk gun. So far I've had no leaks from the windshield area.

I had a similar gap where the windshield gasket has shrunk and pulled
away from the frame. I used Sikaflex all around the windshield.
To push the Sikaflex into the gaps I used a plastic shipping bag cut
into strips. I laid the strips over the wet glue and pressed in into
the gap. I left the plastic strips on the glue while it hardened.
After the glue is hard you can pull the plastic strip off
the glue with no trouble.
With the plastic strips you can smooth the glue and push it around
freely. You can form the glue into a nice round shape which is
difficult to get just using a glue gun.

Dean, here's a link to my Argosy thread where I did a major rework of the windshield gasket.
No leaks so far

What do you think about this new method of installing solar panels on the roof? These look like home solar panels...maybe less $$$. I do have plenty of ATV tie-down straps available too!

It would be interesting to see wind tunnel testing results
I'm betting that rig has been sitting there for quite some time.

If you tighten the straps hard enough, it'll bend the panels to the roof curve on our Airstreams. If your smart, pre glue velcro to the roof and panel, so they retain the curve and stick to the roof, so you can remove straps. Do this on a warm and sunny day.[emoji6]

PS Is Aerbus an Ukranian or Russian RV manufacturer?
