Yosemite or Bust!

We headed 250 miles north to the ranch today to pickup the motorhome. Tomorrow morning, we will be heading 250 miles south to Angels Camp, then on to Yosemite the following morning.

I picked up the couch and chairs from The Tack Shop yesterday. They are better then I even imagined they would be. We went with a dark color and I think it contrasts with my other colors very well. Internet is not that good here, so pics to follow in the near future.

Nice job on the 28.Did you recover the flexsteel seats or buy new? Also
I have removed and redyed my dash area. I have not yet repainted the overhead ceiling, end cap plastic etc. Did you repaint this area and what color if so.Mine has yellowed from U/V damage.Seems like it may have been a Dover White shade when new.
Thanks Jimmy

Thanks Jimmy! The seats have the original material on them, however, they are not original to the coach. My dad bought them many years back to replace the original seats. I did paint the dash and the wall panel behind the chairs in the salon area. The end caps, upper cabinets, etc., have yellowed and I plan to paint them the same cream color as the wall panel that I painted. I use Dupli-color spray paints. When I get back from Yosemite I'll take a look at the can and let you know the color.

Post some photos of your 310 for us!

Thanks! I'll try to post a closer pic of my ceiling panel in a day or two.

We drove from Red Bluff down Highway 5, through the crazy Sacramento traffic and then south on 99. Then headed east to Angels Camp. It was an awesome day driving down the valley. Everything is green this time of year and the white billowing clouds were beautiful.

We missed the tornado that touched down south east of Red Bluff last evening. As we passed through there at noon yesterday, it certainly was looking like tornado weather!

It was about a 275 mile leg today and took about 6.5 hours with the gas and rest stops that we took.

The mh ran great!

"Glamping" in Yosemite Valley! This is what it's all about and this is the payoff for all the hard work!

It was salmon and wine for dinner last night as we sat around the campfire. The skies are clear and blue today with temps in the mid 60's.

It was drinks and dinner at the Ahwahnee last night. It's always a great experience. We got back to the motorhome just as it started a heavy rain. By the time we got the awning in, the generator put away and the the bikes and chairs covered, I was soaking wet.

It was about 45 degrees early this morning, so I turned on the furnace. It rained most of the night and sometime early this morning, the rain turned to snow!

I like the carabiners on the cocktails...very cool! Is that typical drink decor at the Awahnee? How about some pics of the new fabric on the seats and sofa?
