Cruising the west coast

About a week ago I headed out from Chino Valley Az, my new mainland base camp. For an overnight run across the desert to Cambria Ca. To meet up with family there.
Ahh cool pacific coast cruising. Heading toward Big Sur.

Parking next to this vintage metal makes the 345 look like a spring chicken.
Boy they sure park you close to each other. As soon as we got out of the coach the neighbors closed the windows on our side. Hi neighbors ;-(

Another nice vintage unit across the park. A super friendly couple just preparing to grill some oysters from nearby waters. I think they said their bubble is a 1956

Looks like you have found some good neighbors. Nothin better than riveted aluminum.

I just thought to add that after seeing some new scratches on the curb side of the coach from driving too close to out hanging brush on the roadside , it might be a better idea to drive north to south on this route to avoid this, Better access to scenic turn outs too.

Since I am fairly new to motorhome driving it's taking me a bit to realize how close to the centerline it looks like I am without actually being that close. There are down sides to crowding the curb side of the road.

Still lots to learn, but it so fun being out there doing it!
