Mike

Here are the lights I got yesterday I think they are the same. They are single wire I have used theses before and they worked fine.

The ground is via the mounting screw The body of the coach is your ground this has always worked for me. You can see the recess in the back for the wire. It is only needed for the 3 rear red center lights because they have no casting they mount right against the body.

How do you like my tail light Conversion to led

I don't know why SebasSF had problems his coach body should have been ground ?

That tail light is beautiful! Yes I dont foresee iny problems with the ground, one could always crimp a hoop connector on a pig tail and run you mounting screw through it. I wish they had pictures of the back of the running lights but I couldnt find them anywhere so, cross my fingers and I think I can make them work. No biggie if they dont, can always return and eat the shipping.

Now those tail lights are a bit more complicated is my understanding. There is even a relationship to the cruise control. I havent delved into that yet. Like I said, your retrofit is niiiiiice.

I'm hoping that my only disappointment is going to be the state they were shipping out of today.

How about some more info on the taillight conversion...looks pretty cool to me, did you do away with the center back-up light in the taillight housing ?

I just received these for the running lights
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00877SL2M/...40_TE_3p_dp_1#

They work great but are polarity specific- didn't work one way flipped them over and perfect-
Also grabbed these while I was at it..
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LEBLI82/...541850_TE_item

What a difference they make - and the price was great...

Yes I am making all 6 work as Tail, Stop ,Signal.

In my coach I have the 4 inch scare lights in the body above the bumper that are also backup lights. They will also be LED

I bought 6 new lenses, And 6 LED lights they have 61 LEDs in them.

I had the centers cut out at a machine shop on a lathe to match the led lights, Then I bonded them together.

The new lights replace the original lenses and cans

Then I used a die grinder with a fine carbide bit to enlarge the openings in the taillight bezel. This is a trial and error so be careful this is a plastic bezel

I am in the process of changing all of the outside and inside lights to LED

I have to give HowieE credit for the taillight idea he did it on his trailer some time ago that is where, I got the idea from he has a post on it if you search his posts.

An Led question. I recently bought a couple of LED number plate lights which worked fine when test connected to the 12V battery. At the rear of the 350LE though, they would not work when connected and I determined that I was only measuring 10.6 V at the coach rear connection ? Why the voltage drop..any ideas? Thanks

Got my lights yesterday afternoon. Woohoo. I really dont have much to compare them to but they are much heavier duty than the OEM lights for sure. Installing this morning. They are a breeze so far, my OEM lights are a single wire, grounded through the mounting screws. New lights are the same. Nice lights.
