Cleaning The Roof

Out west I dealt with dust and pigeon poo. Not this black stuff I got in a few months in Michigan.

I was shocked when I got around to cleaning it up to put in back in the barn which has been full of "stuff" from the move and settling an estate.

The tractor makes a nice platform for working on the roof.

Looking at that might make you wish for the 16'. That's pretty dirty but you did a great job cleaning it. Nice job!

Kota,

Where did you get your skylight covers? Those look much cleaner than the usual plastic bubbles I see.

PO put those in. They are some super duper low e glass that keeps that will reflect a nukler blast, and keep it cool or warm inside. They are pretty nice skylights. Haven't felt any need to have shades inside. They totally replace the skylights. You can watch the stars at night and the sun don't cook you.

It actually looked worst than it was. It was from spending the summer under a big oak. Mostly just water and a good pressure washer. Used a little of some local brew that the RV shop on the corner sells for $25 a gallon. Probably a bucks worth of TSP and green die in a gallon of water. Other than dust, it's spent a clean, low humidity life in Colorado under cover. It's back in the barn now.

Read the title and said to self " O whoops another question asking how to get on and clean the roof". Boy was I wrong. Kota (no real name given), great solution to what can be a tricky project.

Ya! A $25,000 scaffolding! Think I've used the forks more than the bucket.
