Classic Motorhomes to Buy

Now I'm very interested in a classic Motorhome - Besides Airstream Classified, what other sites should I be paying attention to so I can pick up one of these great beasts?

There is also simply www.rvtrader.com or Fred's Airstream Archives - Travel Trailers and MotorHomes For Sale which has a few usually.

Yes, I've looked at both and have found a few. Unfortunately I'll have to wait until tomorrow to call.

Chaplain Kent's moho is for sale, and from what I have seen in his posts over the last few years, he has done quite a bit to it and it is in very nice shape. He had it on eBay (where we got ours), but it may still be on the classifieds here.

Good luck! We LOVE ours and wouldn't have any other kind.

A Vintage challenge

If your up to a Vintage type challenge...both of these are neglected and been sitting as you see them....for years. It just kills me to see them every day like this.

Yes, Ebay is an option as well. I purchased mine off ebay too, seems here lately the classics aren't quite as popular on ebay though, at least the bigger ones. There are quite a few land yachts on there atm.

I always wonder how RVs wind up that way, but especially those mohos. At one point, IIRC, they cost someone $100k or more. I doubt they even that have that many miles on them....

Man, I really got the bug now. I've decided I'm looking for a 28' diesel and/or gas the later the better for around $15k. If anyone's got a lead, I'd appreciate it. I haven't seen anything on Ebay. I'm also interested in the 24-28' Argosy as well.

Airstream Classifieds - Last week there was a beauty 28 footer MH 1982 Diesel.
Fred's mentioned above is great as well.
But I bought mine on Craig's List. It's in the shop about to be repaired for millions of bucks.
