Gonna keep the blue paint scheme no matter what. Will do my best to remove clearcoat (some already gone) and shine the exposed aluminum. Thinking the paint and mirror finish would look really good! Thanks, Derek

I do have a new theme song though, old Box Car Willie song, "Give Me 40 Acres and I'll Turn This Rig Around".....
We have the blue-stripe edition...somewhat ragged, but we call it home 9 months of the year...you will overpack for several years with stuff you will never need until you leave it at your home without wheels...it's a challenging exercise, but gets to be fun until(in our case) the snows start coming...we usually just start at the back and pull everything out when we get home, evaluate, and pack less stuff...
Be careful with the dash things...I have had the same ignition problem, and was able to 'fix' it by pulling the dash loose, but LORDY!!! the wiring back there would make a bird's nest look simple...finally went to someone who could replace it and realign the set screws for the dash...just one of those expenses you have purchased with your unit, but park that lady once, in the rain, and you will appreciate what you have done.
Keep us posted...m

In my experience, having a 280 & 310, the tech who wired under the dash did not like his job.

Loving this big ol' Classic! Still have this 'stupid' grin on my face all the time, it's even worse when I get closer to the Airstream! Does it ever go away? I sure hope not!

Thanks, Derek

That would have been us. We cruised through there and saw some sites a few weeks ago. You can follow our trip here http://www.airforums.com/forums/f42/...oad-79445.html We will be heading through Sandy Hook, Conn. in another week or two but not sure what route we will take. Right now we are in Nova Scotia heading toward New Brunswick and maybe Prince Edward Island.

Cheers, Dan

We saw an early moho yesterday on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. It looked to be about 26' but I just caught a glimpse of it in somebody's yard and there was traffic behind me and nowhere to stop. It was just south of North Shore.

Cheers, Dan

Well guys how about this one? We were heading to the ferry from Nova Scotia to Prince Edward Island when the wife yelled to turn around. Actually we were in a traffic circle and I had to go around again to get to the visitor center where this was parked. It turned out the WBCCI caravan from Newfoundland had just ended this morning and this couple was going to New Brunswick. Their names were, if I got them correct, Julian & Lynn Clements. Their WBCCI no. is 224 so I assume one of them was a past int. pres. Anyway we chatted for a few minutes and went on our way. This is three classic mohos spotted on Nova Scotia in one week.

Cheers, Dan
