I was on I-5 North bound from L.A. around 9:am on 7/16 and saw these two beauties going over the Grapevine.

See a 280 Turbo Diesel everytime I go to visit my folks summer place in Virginia. Spoken to owner, WON'T sell, even though it's slowly rotting away.....SAD!

Yikes! Our worst fear...can't tell if it's a diesel or not, bet it was a 454. Sure would be good for parts, though. $14k is a bit much for a "project".

That is the value that was estimated before fire. (wholesale??)
This site allows you to bid on the unit, and if you are the top bidder, then they negotiate with the insurance co. to purchase the unit for you.
One has to read the small print.
I would think it is a 454.

I wonder what it would cost to lowboy it back to this coast? Dan's got a fresh diesel in his, maybe we could talk him into bringing it back, though I bet the pull over the Rockies would be interesting. Might have to do what the "Ice Road Truckers" do and I'll go down and push him over the hill.

A beauty on 23 North of Marion Ohio

she went through Marion from the East. got on 23 and headed North toward Findlay.
