Agreed.
There is a lot of nice toys available for little money right now.
A lottery win would make my Toy collection VERY fun!

On the subject of plunging values.....

When I'm really in the mood to indulge my moho fantasies, there's only one place to go, Prevost.

Recently there was a 2007 on ebay. The conversion was done by a German company by the name of Teschner. With only 10K miles on a chassis built to last a million, you could say it wasn't even broken in. The raw bus shell alone (without the slide-outs) goes for somewhere north of $300K. The quality of the finish materials employed might only have been surpassed by the workmanship of the German craftsmen that put it all together. The paint job is "different", to say the least.
The bottom line though, is that with a build cost of 1.7M EUROS, the seller couldn't get a buyer at $448,000 or acceptable offer. Thats less than 25 cents on the dollar for a truly magnificent machine.

It's way out of my league, but is there not a buyer in the house?? Check it out on youtube.

Steamer:
No matter how much you pay for these toys, they all rot at the same rate if exposed to the elements.

This is a Prevost that is on ebay now and if you look at the pictures, it would turn you off paying much of a premium for an older unit.

Key, I'm sure its just that bout with the flu that's got you. Whenever I feel that way, I just double up on the meds, and everything seems fine.

Surfing the net and see this nice 345 is still in Utah, at Camping World.
When I look back, I see I posted this on this thread before. (sorry about that) I thought it would be snapped up right away as it looks to be in good condition.

Yesterday, December 7, I saw an 80's 310 heading south on Interstate 5 in northern California just south of Williams. It had a toad and she was looking fine!

When we were in Almonte, Ontario for Labour Day weekend 2011, we happened onto a large AIRSTREAM rally at the town park on the banks of the MISSISSIPPI River.

A lot of tin was there.

We just saw a shiny motor home pulling a toad, traveling west on I10, between San Antonio and Fort Stockton.

My guess is that there will be 2' of snow the night before you are ready to leave. Have you got your chains????

"Jan 21 2012 Residents in the Northeast are breaking out their shovels after a fast-moving storm dumped a few inches of snow on the region.
It's the first snowfall since a rare October storm dumped more than 2 feet of snow in parts and knocked out power to nearly 3 million homes and businesses in the region.
By midafternoon, 4.3 inches of snow had fallen in Central Park and 3.4 inches at LaGuardia Airport in New York. Most of eastern Pennsylvania, and central New Jersey saw about 4 inches of snow, with a few places reporting up to 6 inches. Flurries and freezing rain fell around Washington, D.C.
Up to 10 inches could be left on the ground in southeastern Massachusetts.
Officials say road conditions are fair.
By midmorning, the snow had turned to sleet in Philadelphia north through central New Jersey. It had stopped falling altogether by early afternoon.
The quick-moving storm is expected to move out to sea overnight."
