Here are some pics of this winter before we headed back to Key West. The boat full of 2,500lb of art (13 foot coffee pot, 4 180lb marble blocks) but it payed the $1,400 in gas/tolls. We were 64 feet long.

Great thread. Hope you all will keep it up! The polish job, the paint job, the originality and the upgraded interiors. All of it excellent!
Visual info on motorhomes is a bit harder to find.

That looks great. Thought about stripping and polishing my bottom half like he did. I like it!

I think it looks cool and different... I note that they did a lighter color for the Banana wraps to allow the visual to flow thru.
I actually think the lower half and center strip polished is a little too much, but I love the possibilities....

I did notice the lighter banana wrap. I haven't painted mine yet turned cold before I had the chance. I just got back and lower half painted. Can't wait for it to warm up so I can finish.

Jeez, that little trailer sure did you proud! Amazing amount of weight on top of what does not look like a light-weight boat!

We found this one in Va. last summer. We looked at units in Ohio, Arizona, Kentucky, and Indiana and called about many others. This one is an 350LE so it is somewhat rare. Airstream only made them in 90 91 and 92. It spent most of its early years in Nevada. Then it was traded in Salem Va. and sold to a med student who lived in it. And never cleaned it!! The med student traded it back in to the same dealer he bought it from and it sat there for over a year. Saw it online and now we are the 3rd owner.
The pictures do hide some stuff like clear gone on the roof (nevada sun), needs tires 11 years old, air bags leak down in 1 day, but all in all its in great shape and most of what it needs are age related.
Yes I will second the sticky thing

The polished units look great but...
The last aircraft I flew had polished wing leading edges. Keeping up with them is all the polishing I ever want to do the rest of my life. Sort of like spit polishing shoes. I've done my time.

he was working on polishinghis 345 but not sure if he finished. Also he was redoing the interior in aluminum panels. Have not heard from him in quite awhile though.

Glad to see someone towing something big. How much does your boat weigh and how did it tow? I just redid the hitch on ours for towing. Starting out with our 13 Whaler wich doesn't weigh anything. After it's repower I hope to tow our 22' Hiliner wich weighs about 4200# with the trailer.
Looks great, thanks.
