Interesting how they seem to fit right in, wherever they are.

Well of course they do Mike!

"Reflecting Nature......."

I gotta ask again cos nobody responded.. Has anyone ever seen a 345 with the interior layout mine has... ie Dinette behind the passenger and a large closet next to the kitchen?
I dont like it much, and am planning to take out the closet and put a U shaped sofa/Dinette there...
The is no window so i think I will put a LCD TV on the wall behind it.

An Argosy I looked at had that similar layout. that would be a great place for a tv. I put my led tv up on the wall behind the dinette on the wall separating the fridge. And another 26" led on my fireplace between the two captain chairs. I removed the closet on my 86 airstream trailer. It was the best thing I have done to that thing. So much more function. Make it the way you want to fit your needs.

Kitchen has stove, but no oven, Convection Microwave, Nutone unit, with a ton of attachments. Refridgerator was replaced 2 years ago, so good.
Front and rear roof end caps have cracks, that are drilled to stop them spreading. Hot water heater is new, but original 80G freshwater tank was replaced with a 15G...
Bedroom is North/south queen.
Based on what I am seeing, I would surmise this is a factory ordered floor plan change. The Dinette positioning was something that was available at one time in the 270 model coaches, The end wall of the seatback is OEM. The Formica in the the wall cabinets looks to be the OEM Formica, and the fact that the exterior where the cabinet currently is does not have any windows (they would have installed windows if the dinette was installed there) leads me to this conclusion.

There are bits and peices of OEM woodwork mixed into what looks to be modifications. The paper towel holder looks like one that was standard issue... The woodwork on the end panel of the 3 door closet looks like either factory work or the materials were bought at the factory. But the color match is perfect from what I can tell, and the install is the way the factory would have done it....

Looks like you have a good solid unit on your hands with some intriguing interior features!

Thanks for the input Brett!
I have crawled all over the unit now, and was sure it was ordered from the factory this way, as you say too. The wood matches, tho I think it may have been refinished sometime in places. As you say, the lack of windows in that area is the dead giveaway!
More Aluminum to polish!
I am in no hurry to change much in the interior, but in the short term, would like more seating options, and maybe some seatbelts in the Dinette, so people can sit there while traveling. Longer term I was thinking about replacing the large closet with a U shaped sofa with a removable table top. I was thinking a couple of those slim "Vista" windows up higher would be fun too! But that way in the future.

Oh, I spotted something I had not noticed the other day....
If I am not mistaken there is 2 different front panels/banana wraps on Classics.

A short version, like on mine, with no skirt and no chin spoiler:

And a deeper version, like this one on a 345 in the same storage as mine(Hope its ok to post this, as its not mine!):

When I got my coach it had a bent bumper and a crunched l/f banana wrap. I ordered a replacement from Inland RV and it had the lower chin. It took a bit of cutting and grinding and is not really a perfect match but if you get down on your knees to find the difference you are just trying too hard. Nobody looking at the coach has noticed it or if they did they were kind enough not to say anything.

Cheers, Dan

Thank you kindly for taking to time to reply..
I may give them a tinkle to see how much they charge to ship to England
I bought 2 black plasticky office type cheapos from Ikea
but they don't look the part ..and..it's easier going in than out ..
once I squeeze myself in between said swiverley chair and pointy edged table i'm well and truly stuck
so the idea is to scupper the existing and replace with 2 cosies
Love TC and the Gang
