I like to always look on the bright side...
Everytime something goes wrong, you fix it and learn.
That way, you strike this stuff off the list of stuff that needs to be done!

As long as you make a list, last time out didn't and then couldn't remember when we had time to do it before last trip, this time I made a list, have knocked two off already only 20 to go.
Noticed a water drip under kitchen faucet, dw also said hot was on wrong side, took it apart, cleaned out calcium and when I was taking it apart looked at directions and they had the directions on how to change reversed water lines by changing the valve inside faucet without touching the pipes, next time I won't have to change lines.
Part of the drip problem could have been the excessive water pressure at the cg, but no drip now and the swing arm works smooth.

Made it back!!! :-) I knew with a bumpy start it could only get better. All the things that went wrong were things I had fixed prior to the trip. I didn't mention before but the exhaust had vibrated loose so it sounded bad to most but cool to me. I had it adjusted before the trip. When it was backfiring for 600 miles it made it loose. The hose from previous mechanic wasn't on all the way and basically fell off. The wires well we make mistakes. Not happy about it, but over all he is the best mechanic in town. He is by referral only. I feel lucky to have him. He will make it right. I do have to recommend replacing that little 4" hose under the alternator at home. :-) here are some pictures.... As promised. Wish I had better ones. They are our camp site, the tiki hut we had, our private dock, the RV resort. And me at southern most point. Oh. Haha talking with the other people at the RV resort told me that RV stands for ruined vacation. Haha. I agreed with them at first, but over all it worked out just fine. She is all washed and cleaned out inside ready for the next trip to Hot springs Arkansas in June. :-) a few small on between too!

Now that's a campsite! Thanks for the glimpse of paradise. It's snowing like mad on Cape Cod.

Hi,
Which campground did you stay at during your visit to the Keys?
Thanks, Derek

http://www.bluewaterkey.com/. Blue water key RV resort. It was nice but website is a bit deceiving. About 12 miles from town but with traffic takes 20 min. Don't want to say more. I would stay at a different one next time. It was a very nice place though. You can pm me I will give full details.

Hi, is this normal in this area? [from their site] Approximately $100.00 per night, $30.00 more if you show up early, and if it's dark outside, don't bother stopping because we won't let you in. [??????]

Darn, you guys have a nice thread going here, first time I have seen since I returned to the forum after a few years of "My Airstream Motorhome is finished, I did all I wanted to do, now what..." Well, I sold it and starting again with a 1987 345.
Here are a few pictures of the restoration of my previous Motorhome:
