Thanks Derek,
Despite what people maybe thinking, I would rather be camping in it that doing this stuff...
Whilst the polishing makes it look so much better, it started out as a means to an end...
The need to seal all the joints, and lights etc where there is a place for water to get in!

In fact this polish was a small part of my day today.

Aside from a great meeting with my Attorney, I stripped and polished a large chunk of the other side, reading for sealing... but I forgot the Acetone, to prep!
Tomorrow I will finish up the sealing I hope!

That's looking great!
Do yourself a big favor and buy a dewalt polisher.

Wondering if she might 'take requests' for those??? Be neat postcards, since I'm unable to find anything with the Airstream Classic motorhome on them. Better yet, maybe offer a Christmas theme??? Hmmmmm.....

Thank you! That's why I love my Airstreams. Wish my dad could see the ones I have. I wish I still had the AS in the pic. :-) He would love my AS Moho. We bought a I think a 77 Midas Moho 31' I think back in 85. He was very proud of it. Did research recently and understand it was a runner up next to airstream in quality. They were aluminum as well with the 454. Not saying they were as great. Lol. Just good quality with a fallowing like AS.

Had to stop for today, based on the odd noises and smells coming from my HF Buffer!
Off to get a warrantee replacement tomorrow... to be fair, I have been leaning on it good!

The whole rear corner is now buffed out to Level 2.. which is plenty good for now.
I did a cut with G6, and then one with the new A Nuvite, then Blue magic for fun... I will do the blue magic with the Cyclo next time, as I could not stop it streaking buffing by hand..

Stripped the bulk of the old sealant out of the rear, and side bedroom windows and off the upper marker lamps.
Put on the new Plate lamp.
Pulled out the Drivers side tail lamp, and cleaned the housing and resealed it against the skin, in case there is a leak there..
.
This is how it looks today... I have done the upper panel with G6, but nothing more yet, as you can maybe see... I have some issues with the joint, and I want to do a little panel beating on it before I go further..

I have this dent to "Pop" out, and I think it will..
Damn! Looking better than mine. :-)

Steve, would you share parts numbers for the vented pads, as well as other supplies you received from Caswell Plating? After reading all of DarkSpeed's posts, this stuff looks like it's the best so far.
Thanks, Derek

Maybe you could get Old Gert to primp-n-pose, take her snap, and photoshop her into a personal sort of picture pride...mike
