Don't let it dryout or it won't come off

What I do is wait till it is shady and cool then brush on, it will turn crinkly white, and then work around with brush to make sure it is all loose and then hose off. I do about one square meter per cycle

I purchased CitriStrip and finally was able to apply it today on the motorhome. Wow, does this stuff work great! They suggest you use rubber gloves when applying. Brushed on to my rear top section. Everyone suggests trying the stripper on cloudy days. Only problem, here in Florida, most cloudy days mean it's gonna rain.....
Even with the rain, I waiting for the Citristrip to dry, again. Got out the water hose, and the clearcoat came right off

Thanks guys! We were the only ones in that section of CG. The sites were not that great so we took up the parking space and made our own. Made a fire pit, and blasting music. Fun times!

Hi Myrtle lynn,

Thanks for those pics. I've been thinking of trying exactly the same paint scheme around my windshield and side windows. No amount of photo shopping can beat a view of the real thing! LOOKS GREAT!!!

Charly.

95 Classic Diesel Pusher

I've posted some of these in other threads but thought this would be a good place to post a running history of our new to us AS. Bought it in August and have put about 4000 miles on it in 3 trips including driving it home from Seattle. I have a lot of plans for it. So far I've gone through most of the mechanical and electrical system to make sure they were all up to speed. It's been rock solid reliable so far. Runs and drives great. I posted a Banks installation thread in Mechanics corner. Very pleased with the results. Cosmetic will start soon. New flooring will come this winter along with upgrading the entertainment system. LED TV, GPS, Sound, etc.

Dakota,
That is one SWEET looking Airstream! Read through your Banks installation. Wishing my '89 had the TurboDiesel, but guessing I'm going to stick with 454 for a bit. We'll see though, miss having a diesel to putter around with.
Thanks, Derek
