As I search for odd (often discontinued) parts for my Classic Moho, and watch others do the same, I thought it might be helpful to start a thread directed toward pooling parts resources. If anyone has parts, or needs parts, they can simply comment with a general reference to what it is that they might have, or seek. Not so much intended as a "classified ad" section requiring time consuming itemizing and updating, but rather an ongoing thread of very general information that will facilitate contacts in the future. What do you think? Is it already here, somewhere?

Had an accident in November 2009 in our 1981 Classic 28ft. The right side was scraped, punched, etc but there were parts we have used on our 1992 345Le classic we bought in March 2010. We kept the salvage after insurance totaled it.

I think the idea is great! Example, yesterday rewired winshield wipers and removed the old harness and wiper dash switch. The switch and harness are still good, the control board is fried, if anyone needs the good parts let me know.

"ASSUME" still applies...excellent idea...tried to give away barrel chairs, and ended up dumping them...still have the between-chairs tv cabinet, with extra dust...

Has any got access to a 3D printer?
We had zcorp come demonstrate one a few years ago at work and I kept the models. Not exactly sure on the range of materials but a some kind of plastic polymer is available. I've even seen on YouTube where some guy printed a cookie with cookie dough (will have to refind that one) . Anyway, where I'm going with this is the plastic weep hole covers that are super pricey. Would it be cost effective to print a large enough batch to get everyone covered for a good few replacements? I'd take a stab at putting the cad model together, however, there may be a 3d professional among us!

Just acquired a '72 Amassador, 27'. Need to replace 2 of the elongated windows that are above the main side windows. They don't open. I am new to this so any help on where I might find a couple is greatly appreciated.

They make a cloth for repairs of plastic/abs, etc., great product!

I have gone to a metal fabricator who says he can fabricate these in aluminum. Prototype is almost done, afterwhich we then can figure how much time it takes to produce. I'm hopefull that the cost will not be out of this world. If at least half reasonable, one more replacement is all we will need. Will post progress at time of prototype arrival.

Hi Van,

Thanks for jumping in.

I've been chasing (with little success) "the guy from Galveston" who recently scrapped a flood damaged 310 moho. What I'm after are the end caps or "close-outs" that terminate the different lengths of rub rail moulding that runs around the coach. The moulding itself is an aluminum extrusion that measures about 2-1/4" high. Any chance you've got this size on your back up unit??

Hi Paula,

I won't be reusing the plastic step insert from my 325. It's in great shape, and it's yours if you want it!

CURTIS 5...Lexan is easy to work with, and I used it for replacement on our '68 Overlander side windows...Andy had the replacement metal framing, and the curve was replicated with a bit of tongue-twisting and a piece of wood for curve formation.

Do keep us posted on their progress. If they function like the plastic ones, look right and price is half reasonable like you say then put me down for a set of 30 large and 6 of the small

I have access to a 3D printer. I think custom building them for less than readily available parts will be hard to do though. 3D printers (at least in most industries) are used to make prototypes so you can put your hands on and view a part before you actually manufacture it. They are rarely used to do production runs although they most likely will be used for that someday in the future. If someone wants to go to the trouble of making a 3D model I can work up a price on making the parts though...

I have all the dash gauges, ac control, wiring harnesses, radiator, motor, trans etc.
It needs to go, we are cleaning up after re power.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for responding. The link to your email didn't work from the thread so I am posting the measurements here. I will try you hotmail from my gmail. The windows measure 40.5 X 8 and 31 X 7.5. This is the glass measurement and may not be exact but pretty close.
