Question replacement driver's sliding window?

Hey folks,
My PO replaced the driver's sliding window on my 1986 345 with a plexiglass window that is now so opaque I can't even see the state trooper writing me a ticket.

Does anyone have one of the original glass sliders lying around? And if so, how much would it cost to buy it from you?

Thanks!

I think Andy has them on sale at Inland RV.

Cheers, Dan

If Andy doesn't have your part, check with BKahler on the motorhome forum, he's parting out a 345. Know that there was front end damage, but there's always the possibility.
Thanks, Derek

Unfortunately those glass sections from the 345 aren't available...sorry.

"Close-outs" ??

Hi Brad,

I've been searching for the end-caps that terminate the various sections of 2 1/4" wide aluminum rub rail moulding that runs around the perimeter of most Classics. I believe these pieces are referred to as "close-outs".

I PM'd you on this as well.

Thanks in advance. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Let me know if you have them available and I can tell you exactly which ones I need.

Charly

Classic 325 windows

I am looking for a source for windows for a classic 325, 1988. Specifically, the passenger side non-sliding side window. Anybody got any suggestions. I am going to have to fabricate otherwise.

As I understand it, the glass alone, is no longer available from any source. You will probably have to buy a complete used "window in frame" which is what I did on my 325. I'm not sure if the frame/window unit from an Argosy is exactly the same size as a Classic. You might want to check the specific model of the donor vehicle just to be sure. Also, this will be the ideal time to do a rebuild of the fuzzy channel and window seals.

On my old 345, two side windows and a rear corner were replaced with lexan. One salvage person we contact about a side window wanted $700 for the frame and glass. Outrageous
Aside from taking your jigsaw to a piece of lexan it'll be the same amount of work. Fabricate away, you'll be happy you did.

Hello everyone, I have been following the forum for awhile but have not posted. I have a 1987 325, it is a beauty but, it needs some attention.I was told the gaskets for the cabinet doors, which holds the center piece in place, is no longer available. Does anyone know where I might find them or something comparable. The previous owner used duct tape to hold most of the center pieces in place. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
