It doesn't hurt to ask; someone could have purchased a set and haven't installed them or there is a low milage motorhome that was totaled and is being sold as parts etc.

I'm interested in the TV cabinet. Can you tell me where you are and what you want for it? Thanks. I am also looking for the venetian blinds for the side windows in the bedroom and bath of our 345. Also need the spice rack that goes behind the stove and a two bulb overhead light.

Hmm, we're in Austin, the moho is in Arizona, and the cabinet is in Colorado
I suspect we won't get back to Silverton before mid to late June...
If you still want it then, it's yours, but you'll have to pay shipping.m

They are rarely used to do production runs although they most likely will be used for that someday in the future. If someone wants to go to the trouble of making a 3D model I can work up a price on making the parts though...
I think the materials now used are beyond just prototypes. Not varied enough to replace traditional manufacturing processes, but suitable for none critical parts like weep hole covers for airstream motorhomes!

See Fab@Home under materials; no aluminum, but stainless steel does sound promising.

Would you need an 'stl' type file, or are there other formats that would be acceptable?

Yes, an STL file would be needed, unless you want to pay someone to convert your data to STL. I do realize there are materials available that are suitable for use beyond prototypes, what I was saying was 3D printers aren't the most cost effective way to make parts so they are not generally used for production runs.

Because my 95 year old mother still is alive and kicking .I often visit her in Joplin Mo.About 20 miles away right off I-94 is the largest collection of wreaked Airstreams (Colaws RV salvage) I've ever seen.Plus all kinds of salvage parts for rvs.Over the years I've bought several items from them. They strip out a lot of items and they usually good buys. They are really nice folks. It's well worth a call or visit. Actually, I have been to that place. I grew up in Oak Grove, MO and Joplin is south of there....on a trip back to visit family, I stopped there.....and I had forgotten about it.....thanks for the reminder...will contact them.

That is great about your mother.....my grandmother lived to be 98 and my mom, almost 95 in that good ole Missouri land.

Rub rail moulding

I've just about exhausted my efforts trying to chase down the "guy from Galveston" that scrapped out a 310 and swore that he had saved the parts I was after. I'm starting to think that after 2-3 months and a dozen unreturned calls that he's possibly not interested?

Soooo, Is anyone aware of anyone with a Classic that has been set aside as a "parts" unit? I am in need of several pieces of aluminum "end cap" trim that are used to terminate sections of the 2 1/4" Rub Rail moulding that runs around Classic mohos at about bumper height. Any help will be much appreciated.

Charly
