We stopped in Auburn NY at one of our favorite breweries. I saw someone stick a parking ticket under my wiper so I went to get it. Turned out to be this... Click image for larger version

I try not to show it, but it is really hard for me to leave the "Get-Together". It seems like it takes forever to get here and then it is gone with the blink of an eye. It was great to finally meet Kota, a real solid guy. Without using personal names here on our thread I will continue... I would like to thank Mehes for making the trip although their 345 was not with them, tells me they really wanted to be there. Our Canadian friends, Shepard57, and Isuzusweet, for making the long journey over the border, Streamquest, from Boston and bringing his Dad all the way to and from.....and dam that polish job killed me( I hate you, Really), Mayco, a really long trip, but another check mark for the "Bucket List", Nawwin, for taking time away from their never ending busy schedule and of coarse, mprokop87, always great to have you join us. It takes a couple of days normally for me to get back to a normal schedule, but this time it will take a bit longer because I return to Cooperstown this weekend, my friends will be missing replaced by strangers I don't know, Regards, Bob

What a great time seeing you all again......very glad the turn out was smaller than Pennwood as I managed to have great conversations with everyone.....Gabbster loved helping to found the A.W.A, "Airstream Womens Association" or Airstream Widows Association as I thought it meant.

Headed out....stopped for diesel twice as the first place I stopped was pretty expensive; stopped at Harbour Freight to scratch my tool itch; border was busy; stopped in Kingston for supper; last saw John at Peterbourough exit; flashed lights to say good bye; home at 12:40 am; in bed by 1:15 am and up at 5:30 am to go to work. Needless to say we did a fridge unpack and that was it.

Thanks Bob for holding my packages; loaning the stripper/crimper to fix my step and inviting us down to a great spot (although I thought my first off road boondocking campsite out by the pond was better ).

A big shot out to our better halfs, who by enjoying themselves immensely made it more enjoyable for us guys to go off and do what guys do. Gabby was the most relaxed I've seen her all summer.

Travelling weather was great, although the Canadian invite for next year's meet maybe in jeopardy as we seem to bring at least one typical cool, rainy, snowy day.

Cheers
Tony

Thumbs up

Hi Airstreames

I have followed the report from the meeting. I am enthusiastic about the many
Beautiful vehicles. Looks like a great place where you hold your Meeting.
Thanks for the great pictures. I am a fan of these meetings, only it is hardly possible to visit you at your meetings.
We have to settle for the meetings in our homeland. I think
Next year there will be a great meeting again in Germany.
Also grows the community of Airstream MoHo owners and participants in Europe. This will certainly be a little more participants at the next meeting.

great great story and pics.... thanks

best regards Peter

Classic Motor home get together

It was a great time seeing old acquaintances and meeting new friends. Friends that share the same labor of love keeping these old classics running. A lot of real talent out there. We stopped at Letchworth State Park. Will be here for a couple days. Met a couple in a new Bambi. They are members here.

Hard to believe our month long "color" tour of the east coast is almost over. "Color" because so far it's only been one. Green!

Classic Motor home get together

I'll propose one right now. Ludington State park in Michigan. Next spring before the kid are out of school. Early May.

2 nights isn't enough!

I really wanted to be there last week with you guys. But it was just too dang far away for me. My comfort zone is about 100 miles from where I live in the Chicagoland area however Ludington might be do-able I certainly would love to try that!
PS. My favorite picture is of all the parts and tools on the carpet and the guys standing around "jury riging"

If we do the weekend of the 21st; that's Victoria Day weekend for us Canucks, so an extra day is possible as I could get the Friday off as well.

Count me in.

Cheers

Wow!

What a blast that was!
Gotta say how great it was to see all of you again, and get to know you a little better.

Bob Miller, You are the man! I can't thank you enough for all your help with the repair on my transmission line. Without your assistance, and Deb's run for tools and parts, I'd probably still be camped out trying to fix it with pine sap and dried leaves.
And thanks as well for the lesson in how to deploy my awning. What a treat to finally see what color it was! It was clearly not something that I would have had any success with, if I had attempted it on my own; and as it turned out, it took several pairs of hands to make it happen. You and Richard and everyone else provided a wealth of advice and experience!
And thanks once more for doing all the heavy lifting in putting this "get together" together again.

And I should probably thank the Airstream Gods as well. If that leak had sprung 100 miles sooner or later than it did, I would not have enjoyed the pleasure of being surrounded by friends to get me through it.

Cheers to all!

Charly
