All the best in making that happen Peter, yet another different airstream motorhome in your quiver, should it come together for you.
Maybe you'll have it home by the time I wander thru in sept. On my way to Fla.
I'll enjoy celebrating with you.
Cheers Richard

Thanks, Richard, been working on it relentlessly most of the day, it just difficult to get responses and additional pictures.
Either way, I certainly hope you will make our humble home your pit stop on the way to Florida.

Careful Peter, don't let your excitement cloud your judgement as scammers love excited consumers. If it doesn't smell right or they say they have people coming to look at it and are demanding a wire transfer of funds to secure the coach for you; walk away mate.
Cheers
Tony
PS The coach is 7 hours away from me if you needed me to do anything.

One of the problems is the $500 ebay deposit as soon as your bid is accepted

Well, that 360 listing ended early, so hopefully she has gone to a good home and we'll hear from her new owner soon.
Cheers

It's not a scam. I spoke with the owner several times, and reviewed requested close up photos.
The coach is a little less than perfect. The body is very clean except for the usual minor dings.
The brother in law (owner) passed some time ago, the coach has lived outside in a RV storage lot and they need to get it out of there soon.
The paint, graphics, and clear coat are beginning to peel, "needs a strip job".
The tires are good but 8 years old.
The coach is a damn good deal with low miles.
The interior is really nice except for the carpet needs to be replaced.
Some one is going to score a nice moho for a great price.
I almost pulled the trigger except after sleeping on it, I decided I'm not ready for another "resto" right now.

Well I'm glad; not glad IMHO he's getting the full value of what most people would think that coach is worth, but at least it will give someone some good bones to work with.
I hope it ends up in a good home............Peter?????
Cheers

Tony, you just don't know how it is, do you? Go ahead and sell your beloved rig and then we'll talk.
Until then, I refer to Flatouf's comment:

Searching for 1994 Airstream 27 custom coach
I just thought I'd throw this out there. I need some help finding this coach.
It is a 1994 Airstream 27ft, custom coach.
I read somewhere only two were ever built in the 27ft. configuration.
Does anybody know how I could locate the current owner.
I do not know state of registration.
This unit last sold about 4 years ago and the owner lived in Michigan at the time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just love this unit, and would like to own it one day.

There is quite a lot of info on Fred's site where the photo came from.
http://www.viewrvs.com/motorhome/air...7_custom_a.php
No dedicated bedroom area, just the convertible sofa (like the early rear-bath Argosy). Bathroom, but no shower.
