1989 345 le $40000

1989 airstream motor home (yes not a pull along) 34.5 feet, low original miles at 30k, this is a classic in great condition for its age. Sleeps 5 comfortably, runs great, sadly must let go of this irreplaceable RV. They do not sell for the book so don't ask. Serious inquiries only.

Airstream Motorhome 1994 33' - $1250 (Coos Bay)

OK, OK, it's not a classic BUT potentially it is a cheap way to get a 454, 4L80E, TBI, generator and a Banks system, along with a load of Airstream parts.........for $1250

Giving details on improvements and maintenance done would be helpful! For example, age of the tires....

Not a complete motorhome but a front grille from one.

More parts for Jonathan (Bobbett750)
I think I will consider buying the 345 from him, if he plans on scrapping it.
I could always sneak by Brads Thomas the Donkey at night and collect free 345 parts

You must be getting REALLY bored to take on a 345 that needs that much work!

They do look good and my guess is they help as well.

Why don't you make two sets and I'll buy a set from you

I wonder if those "gutters" are just applied to the surface with sealant and fasteners or tucked behind the frame. It would be nice to have some sort of drip edge above all the opens on the sides of our rigs.

They could also serve as a multifunction hold the broken divider bar in place, because sooner or later they will break.

Gotcha! John's 325 had a broken divider and when he pushed it back to secure it unbeknownst to him the window moulding had a tear in it which allowed metal to glass contact with no give. All it took was one railway crossing and kibosh the fixed glass window exploded into bits all over his wife.

Mike, your front windows probably have the original rivets holding the window to the top cap; my top cap was replaced at sometime so I have screws (which I replaced a few years ago with stainless steel screws), so screwing this moulding on wouldn't be a problem.

Brad, I''l let you know if I go ahead with it.

Cheers
Tony

Yeah, you'd want to check on that small point! I'm guessing Fibreglass Land Yacht.

Cheers

You'd be right. I sent the seller an email asking whether it was a classic, and got a one-word reply: "no".

That is more of a reply than I got asking for pictures...
He priced himself out of the market for a fiber glass DP. since newer models sell for a lot less.

I looked at quite a few DPs of that era when I was looking for the Airstream. Winnebago, Allegro, Holiday Rambler... $15K would buy a nice one on a Spartan EC2000 chassis.
