Rare model, the longest (11m) V8 engine changed in 2001 (invoice), with dual carburetion petrol / lpg
Much recent work on the body (500h polishing!), the engine and in the living quarters.
Details after first contact by email.
$55,500 at the current exchange rate

Sellers can ask what they want....I tend to only track what the selling price is, because an item is worth what someone else will pay for it

How do you find the selling price Martin? Also, is there some type of archive of selling prices for Ebay or other similar sites? Thanks

Don't think the final price from auction sites are published anywhere I have found Mike, but if you add the item to your watched list you get an email when it finishes saying you have missed it and what the final price was, and suggesting alternative items (often nothing to do with the original!). The nice part of this is, if they don't sell and get re-listed you also get notification of the new listing.
In general if they don't sell at a price that is a good indication it isn't worth that amount.

You can search for completed auctions to see what items are selling for. After you do an ebay search on the left side towards the bottom you'll see the following selections:
Show only
Returns accepted
Completed listings
Sold listings
Click on the completed auctions and it will list about the last three months worth.

Makes me wonder what this one sold for??
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1981-Airstre...m=112113913188
And yes, sold price is how to track our values, but let's face it, anything Airstream is holding it's value, and older models are going for lotsa $$, especially if restored. Simple fact that motorhomes were not produced in large volumes annually, means that we all have something rare in our possession.
Anything with wheels that 'holds' it's value is something rare!

Heck, even the scammer prices are going up. For example, here's mine listed in a scam for $14,900 shown in the condition I bought it. I over paid at $2027 so $14,900 is REALLY high!

I think you're probably right about it being the same scammer.

Once circulated and re-posted, urgent removal and or deletion of listings always creates a suspicion that something was, "not quiet right!" Am I being paranoid!

It was on eBay and at an RV dealership so may have sold. It was a 345 with gear vendors Overdrive, and otherwise original for $17500....

There was a 345 sitting at a farm on the east side of Boulder CO. I've been driving past it for years. I was out there a few weeks ago and noticed it was gone. Anyone know what happened to it?

I came across this link to a 345 over on Airstream addicts.
Haven't seen it posted here.
Looks pretty original, with overdrive.

I don't know if this has been posted already but it seems like a decent rig for a decent price.
