That's interesting. I thought in 74 they only made the 20' and 24' models. Maybe it was 20' and 26' that they made.
Looks good from a distance to bad they didn't post more pictures. Also that looks to be an original Armstrong air conditioner. They were supposed to be one of the best made and lasted forever.

Never cared much for the rear bath models with throne in plain view.

I know by '75 they were doing the 20, 24 and 26 (at least from the sales flyer issued at the time). 26 got dropped for 28 next year, then by '78 both the 20 and 24 went as well.

I just looked at my 74 owners manual and it clearly shows 3 models on the front cover as shown below:
However on page 17 it discusses loading for only the 20' and 24' models. I couldn't find any reference to a 26' model in the manual.
Going back to the cover page do you notice anything odd about the 20'?!
I have not seen that window configuration on a 20' 74 before. I wonder what the floor layout looks like?

Geez I'd take the whole kit and caboodle as that's a sweet looking FJ40 on the trailer........although if my 310's towing capacity is 2000lbs, he may have overcooked it with that rig as I'm guessing the trailer is 1500lbs and the FJ is north of 3200lbs.
A beautiful rig for a great price.
Cheers
Tony

Tony, I think your 310 towing capacity is greater than you think. With my 84 454 powered 310 I regularly towed a trailer and race car combo that weighed in excess of 3,000 lbs. I did reinforce the hitch (as have lots of others on Airforums) and never had any issues. Other than long grades you couldn't really tell the trailer was back there.

1975 manual has the same images (the only difference appears that the text 1975 is added)

By 1975 there is only the 16.5 wheel option on the 20ft
And interestingly the 1975 price schedule (valid from Nov 1974) definitely shows the 26ft

The 20ft floor plan in the manual actual does show two windows on the passenger side.
This would make sense as the kitchen was original on the passenger side, so logically should have had 24in slider/fixed windows above the counter (like I have now on the drivers side), but I have never seen an 20ft with those two windows installed. The few there are, all have a single 30in slider further back. Definitely something you may need Brad if you are keeping the wetroom on the drivers side.

It's interesting that they dropped the 16" wheels. Mine had the 16.5" wheels when I got it but a long time ago I swapped wheels and tires with an 81 Chevy dually because I wanted the 16" as the tires are easier to find in that size. Oddly enough the 16" wheels/tires have higher weight ratings than the 16.5" wheels/tires.
Another oddity is in 75 they dropped the rear axle weight rating from 6,200 lbs down to 6,000 lbs. Even stranger is my dash had a plaque on it from Airstream that states the rear axle rating is 7,500 lbs and the front is 4,300 lbs. Airstream sure did some funny things with the weight ratings on these rigs.

Wish I could find a price sheet for the 74 models!

I never noticed the extra window on the passenger side for the front bath models before! It would have made a lot of sense for Airstream to have installed that second window. One of my major complaints with the floor plan of the front bath (other than the drives seat hitting the bathroom wall) is how dark it always seemed to be inside the coach. I can totally understand why you installed so many windows when you remodeled yours.
For the moment I'm still planning on the wet bath on the passenger side but I would still like to put a push out window in the wet bath. I've got the window, just need the frame for it.

The 1988 models had the highly sought after faux wood accent trim!
That paint scheme started in 1989.

I'm with you on this. I too have seen that picture before on this site somewhere.
If it sounds too good to be true..........be careful out there.
Cheers

The location is just a few miles from my house. I wrote the "seller" but never got a reply. There is a special place in Hell surrounded by overheating 454's for those scammers..

Looks like a close sister to my 1989 345.
I'm interested in the white door on the curb side. Looks like a new waterheater door. And what a better place for the waterheater. The amount of water spent getting hot to the kitchen sink or shower for that matter from the drivers side is too much.
Bummer that scamming on the internet is so popular.
That would be a nice deal otherwise, clean looking coach.
Surrounded by overheating 454s, ha too funny! But appropriate!
Cheers Richard
