Oh Boy it's back!
Kota if you are back in the area, could I hire you for a day to check it over for me?
I'm really interested in the coach and would be very interested in getting a knowledgeable inspection of the unit.
You know you want to check it out, and I'll save you from having to drive another one home.

I've had a couple of days to convince myself it was OK to have missed it.
So glad to see it back up.

Now I want to call them and see if an inspection is possible .

So Kota, let me know if this could work for you.

My 345 is really nice, but the chance to upgrade to the pusher is hard to resist.

Cheers Richard

Well, drove down to Fountain to look at the 94 360 and it followed me home!

It's a bit rough but is absolutely free of corrosion and the skins are free of dents or scratches. The clear coat and graphics need to be stripped. Great candidate to be polished. The interior is dated and dirty.

It started and ran great. I was drawn to the Reyco Granning air ride suspension. Definitely a superior ride to the leaf spring version and a rare option. Everything worked so I jumped on it. I'll probably keep both through the camping season but will be selling one this fall.

Wow. I thought I was the only crazy one. Flying tomorrow to see the one I keep calling mine. Will see it Sunday. Should I start a new thread if I buy it? Only 99.99 percent sure at this point. Have to see it right?

Absolutely! Start your thread when you get there, add pictures and what you are planning to do to it. That way we can all follow the adventure! Also those of us that have been there can share what we found out that worked for us.

Congratulations Kota.

I think you have done very well for yourself in the purchase of the classic 360 pusher.

From your discription is does sound like a worthwhile coach to get into .

I did try to step up save you from yourself, but to no avail.

[QUOTE=I'd run down and look at it but I need it like another hole in my head. Was considering an opportunity to clean it up and flip it.[/QUOTE]

And "probably a good thing I'm out of town"

I really did try to do what I could to help a brother out.
But some of us can't be saved from the ALUMINITIUS!

Keep us posted as you get deeper into your new coach as I'm sure many of us will be following its progress with interest.

Cheers Richard

Oh Oh, I have another thought for you Kota. You said you are torn between the coach you have with all the improvements you have put into it. Vs the new unknown one with the better air ride suspension.

How about I make up the difference for you. You price out the cost of adding air ride to your coach. And I'll make up the difference over what you paid for this new coach. This could be a win. win for both of us.

You get to keep the one you know but with the better suspension. I get to move on to the one I want.

Just putting it out there for consideration.

Cheers Richard

Congrats...great score! I'm just driving back to the Bay Area from Phoenix. 94 Classic Diesel with rebuilt motor running perfect. 540 miles on one tank of fuel, and still have a quarter tank to go.

Hey Seabass, nice to hear your report from the road. Great that the rebuilt engine is running so well and you are happy with its performance!

Share a wrap up report once you arrive.

Cheers Richard

That's an interesting proposition! We'll talk in the Springs! One other thing it has going for it from a rebuilders perspective, it lived in Nevada and dry California all its life. There isn't a spot of rust or corrosion. The plasticoat and graphics are toasted. Prime candidate to polish out. No dents or filiform corrosion. Cabinetry is in good shape but the headliner and walls need to be redone.

I did sign up for unlimited carfax for 60 days to check it and a few other vehicles out. Very handy to find out where a vehicle has lived.

Dave...
