In the long run this will cost you a lot more than owning an Airstream...

PS The ad states it sleeps eight Dean? Eight???......would the eight be Snow White and the seven dwarfs?.....Sorry, mental flash of a hot raven haired beauty doing eight dwarfs in Dean's bouncing Airstream.

You never know what kind of mileage is on the chassis though.

Holy cow, walk away from a thread to clean, flush, lubricate my brakes and install winter rims; only to come back, find air-porn and lecherous old buggers.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves!!!!! (WOS- wife over shoulder if you didn't what that meant).

The second time in a month a picture of an innocent girl in a halloween costume has made it onto a Classic motorhome site.

Cheers
Tony

So why didn't anyone bid on this 1977 Airstream Argosy 28?

I've seen worse at that price.

although it seems to need a lot of love, the presentation on EBAY truly sucks. With better photos and a little spruce up prior to them being taken, I think they could have easily sold it. Its kind of a negative display for me..

Good point.

It is amazing how so many people really do a horrible job of describing their rigs and the crappy pictures they post.

You're 100% correct, presentation is everything. That little 20' Argosy motorhome that sold for $19,300 last month is a case in point. It still needed work but was presented very nicely.

You also have to factor in there seems quite a few 28' Argosy around (there is a similar one the routinely comes up in LA).

Good point. Other than the polished 20' in Arizona and this 20' Argosy I can't remember the last 20' Argosy that I've seen for sale.

The 20' that is for sale appears to be over priced and even after spending $55 million I don't think the seller got it quite right

The very few 20' that do come up, also seem always to be rear baths.

I know the DP classic guys call those unicorns, but the rear bed 20' simply aren't available.

I know of around 4 or 5 rear bed 20s and that's about it. I'm sure there are more but like you said, they're unicorns!
