Mohos currently for sale
1989 Airstream 370
http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hn...515969290.html
My husband and I contacted the seller via Craigslist, asked and rec'd a few pics, but the seller was vague in answering some questions. Then the seller vanished. And so did his ad. He stated he was very busy and didn't have time to use the unit nor fix a few (non-specific) things. Ultimately, our interest waned.

1993 airstream land yacht motorhome - $25500 (mansfield)
Here is some real value...beautiful rig with new engine (no I am not the seller)
Knowing how quickly you can sink 10 K in these rigs without ever thinking about the nightmare of engine replacement, this I would personally consider.
Of course, I would do a complete inspection of all the systems first.

Gas prices have gone down about .60 cents a gallon here in St Pete, FL. Campground prices are all about where you want to stay. As far as $ invested in the Airstream, it's all about maintenance. You can't buy a house and never do one single improvement at some point....new roof, new A/C/Heat unit, plumbing, the list goes on and on.
What I will say is this, if $ is a problem with the Airstream, yes, it's probably time to sell this beauty.
Just my opinion, Derek

I've been through the boat, airplane, glider, mountain cabin, classic car, and currently the AS "addiction". None of them really make any economic sense but I've always enjoyed what I was doing each era of my life and wouldn't do much differently. Everything I've done was with limited economic means but rich on the mechanical skills to turn others discards into treasures. I've never lost money on any of them unless you count my labor at about 2 bits an hour.
So it could well be time to move on and turn La Nomade over to new master and move on the the next adventure. But don't sit idle! Your brain will turn to mush.

Keyair Lives!!!
Great to hear your voice Steve. I was almost afraid to look at the unit for sale that you posted, out of concern that it might have been your own. Welcome back, and hope all is well.
