Ya, $80K is a bit high given the interior araingment and modifications. Mileage, at 136K, is high for that price. Personally, I'd say around $45K-$50K is more like it. $80K will buy you a lot of MH even in today's market. I've seen Sky Deck's go for less than $80K.

Bob,
What’s you criteria for a 360? I’m still in a state of flux with the health issues. Covid has been delaying my valve job. I will be selling at least one.

I have a couple of people looking at the 396XL......as soon as it sells I'm going to pull the trigger on a 360. Right now with 4 Airstreams in the shop there is no more room, unless I retire from Snap-On then I can fit 2 more in there when I get rid of my tool inventory. Regards, Bob

1984 345 on Ebay
Hi,
New posting of a 345 but with engine that needs to be fully restored or changed.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/28463666988...8&toolid=10043
Price seems too high for me.
Have a nice day,
Mario

Any thoughts on this one? Price is high but the restoration looks great - They don't mention drivetrain which concerns me..

Otherwise it is a tasteful restoration, on the less desirable rear bath version, especially as the 1975/76 rear bathroom models dont benefit from the larger windows installed in 1977/78.
As for price; its worth what someone will pay.

Yea drivetrain is mentioned. I was referencing was the drivetrain restored as well or was it still all original. That will effect value imho.

As an owner of these short buses, I would say that as long as it starts and runs, rennovation of the actual drive train is very low on the risk list. They are doing half the work of a longer unit, and also remember that is the very low 160hp version of the 4 bolt main small block. It is under very little stress in use. There is no comparison to the stress the big block is under pulling a 14000lb monster.
Far far more important is that the fuel tank/systems, radiator/coolent, steering, suspension and brakes have been overhauled. Because, if they haven't you will be completing your first trip on a tow truck. Of these, the main two things which aren't 'routine maintenance' and need checking anyway, are the fuel tank (which will be in the process of rusting from the inside out) and the radiator (which will need recoring/replacing). They are the two main things which you need to check.
