Maybe it is me... But I had to post this, just because it is SOOOOO bad..

It is an Airstream Motorhome, but, as my Grandmother would have said "The pair of them need putting in a bag, and given a good shake...."
By the pair, I mean the Seller, and the potential buyer...

Is it my imagination or are prices heading north?

This is a very stock unit.

This one is quite reasonable considering everything else out there.

Left hand drive and almost definitely a US import.

Seems most folks bringing in 110v/30amp units into Europe add a 220/240volt 13amp service (the domestic line rating), sometimes in place of the 110v or in parallel (which allows them to keep the on-board generator, and only have roof AC when on a generator).

I think only the last few 250 (mentioned in a recent post elsewhere) were dedicated European (Germany) models so 220/240v but still left hand drive.

After I saw that 325 gasser go for 120,000 Euro's in the UK this year I've been seriously considering shipping mine across the pond if I want to sell it one day.

Cheers
Tony

I think you guys have missed the boat since the Brexit vote, with exports from the UK now being worth approx 20% less than the day before the vote, and imports to the UK 20% more.

So that "120K MH" home actual sold for 80K (120K was at the exchange rate then). Today 80K is only 87K. Or in dollars.....$120k then, $95K now.

Oh...and the 80K was after taxes so the seller got about 60K or about $72K which isn't anywhere near as crazy sounding as $120k.

I have hard enough job keeping track of the pound to euro/dollar changes so you will have to do the equivalent to Canadian dollars yourself!

The rule of thumb at the moment is have cash in dollars/buy stuff valued in pounds.
