Well it looks like I sold the argosy! I'm very excited for the future for this queen.

The coach seems to be an awesome shell, and he has skills to get it driving.

It is going to cold lake Alberta in the new year. With about an hour spent messing around peter had it hotwired and cranking over. The next day he came back and got the motorhome running on the propane conversion it's set up on. Unit was converted in 88 and now has 85000 miles. It's going to be a project, but peter is a tradesman and has great resources with friends and family.

I've encouraged peter to join the airforums for great technical support and supportive community here. Hopefully we will be introduced soon

I think it is 74-76 bus Brad just they have cut the grille to take rectangular lights. The buses of those years had all 30in deep windows although those have been changed to the CRL style .....they must have been making them with the right contour at some point!

Yep, you're right. I was focused on the twin headlights and it didn't even dawn on me to think about the fact that the later lights are one on top of the other. Also didn't notice the front grille assembly is the 74-76 style. I guess it's time I crawl back under that rock for a while!

Brad

(On edit, based on the tail lights it's a 75 or 76.)

Looked in the relevant section and didn’t see a similar thread, so posting it here.

Interesting B190 with a 4x4 Conversion on EBay in San Diego.

Interesting conversion, indeed! Not sure, if I could get excited about it, since the Bvan already is top heavy as is. They other thing Airstream overlooked when they touted this van as the perfect tow vehicle (6000 pounds) for their trailers, is the extended body with a short 138" wheel base.
I just bought a 87 29' Sovereign in mint original condition. Can't wait to hook it to the BVan and take it for a spin.

I believe $2,000 per side is kind of expensive, I believe Jackson Center can get them for less than that.
