Dave, I'm really sorry to hear that it's come to this
I sincerely hope the health issues will get taken care of over time. Take care.

Dave,
Even though we've never met, we've shared the same experience.
This just plain sucks. Very sorry to hear. Be well.

Thanks Brad. It is easily the hardest thing I have had to do in the past few years. We had a few more weekends and it would have been 100% ready to roll for my retirement in 4 years.... But as they say, priorities change.

Thanks Charly,
The worst part is we won't be able to finally hit the road and go to classic rallies around the county and meet all the great people here are the boards!

Pricey but with the exchange rate where it is: -35% for Americans. Looks like a nice unit.

This 350 has been for sale for quite a while....I looked at it last year. I wonder if the spare tire entered in through the front right window and rolled to the bedroom ??? LOL All in all it looks like a HUGE project...I can see water damage (extensive) throughout, but all in all it is a 350 and it is a 1992 with throttle body injection......just needs everything but looks like it has good bones....It's Never Done ! Regards, Bob

A huge project, even see mold on the floor by the dinette, but it's the "can be towed by a heavy duty wrecker" part that made me cringe. If he has done that in the past, a new tag maybe in the books as well.
Cheers

or at least a new Airride dogbone bushing ....ask Chriscraw what the wrecker did to his 350's air suspension. It was so severe that sometimes the dogbone would be perfectly centered in the bushing (when he had it at some suspension shop) or totally out of whack, when he was in my driveway. Eventually I talked him into replacing it.

Yes Peter and I'm very glad you did! Towing with a heavy duty truck causes the tag to become dislocated but stuck on the side of a busy highway in the pouring rain without any motive power focuses the mind on just getting the hell out of there!
Try finding a large "flatbed" in the middle of Oregon on the day that the Seattle Sea hawks were in the play-offs!
