Yes, I know a lot about that coach, but not enough to put down a deposit without inspecting it. My plan was to go this Saturday morning, payment on hand.
And yes, Chris, would have been a step up for me, but only for 1 reason and was to park right next to you and watch you turn green. And Catstream said, yes bigger is better, especially if you are in Texas

Although I am not looking for another MH, I do search eBay frequently, just to see what is out there.
I do a very simple search of (argosy, airstream) and I often end up with a lot of items not of interest, and by seeing some that you find, I know I am missing a few in my search.
If it is not a trade secret, what search terms do you guys use to do your ebay searches?

Money pit, not driven in 10 years, needs TLC, unobtanium, easy to get parts for, and just needs a polish to be worth $100,000.

Cheers
Tony

You forgot "extremely rare" and "difficult to find".

Use those words and you'll pay way too much. You know better than that Dave, as both of yours were "needing work and TLC" if I recall.

Cheers

My son lives in Delafield WI. He spotted a motorhome with a NASA decal on the side. Assuming there are not many with the decal, Any clue who owns it? Do they live there or just visiting? I told my son to go ask (we air streamers are friendly folk) but he's little shy.

NASA used them to transport astronauts to the Space Shuttles, see here:

https://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/s.../astrovan.html

May be a surplus one of those, or a copycat.

Doubtfully it would be one of the originals
You can buy the decals on ebay, this one is 28" for $25

Yeah, NASA had a few, but it's highly unlikely that is one of them. Nowadays people buy a decal and put it on them. I don't get the appeal. It would just attract even more curious people.

The originals are pretty easy to spot.....red/white/blue stripe (with special belt-line) and none of the house windows are sliders.

It looks like a 270.
I see the fridge vent is also in the rear above the generator.
The fuel fill is normal, I am not sure if that is the AC outlet behind the door?
It is interesting that the cab roof is not the same finish as the rest
