I haven't had much luck in figuring out how to upload and post photos here. Instructions are kinda vague in the FAQ section. I'll keep trying. Thanks, Derek

Talked with owners today, decided 2 weeks from tomorrow, I'll 'officially' be an Airstream Motorhome owner. Already calling it my 'Mobile Retirement Villa'! Only 9 more years to go, in the meantime, plenty of road-trips.....

Hi TC,
I'm on my 7th Volkswagen in my lifetime. Yes, guess you could call me crazy about Volkswagens, lol. 1 1979 Rabbit (Golf) diesel, 1989 Jetta Diesel, 1991 Passat, 1993 Passat GLX, 1996 Passat TDI, 2002 Passat GL, and for now, a 2011 Passat CC. Favorite is the current one, but that always seems to be the case. Hoping next round of CC's, VW of America will finally import the diesel here.

YEAH! I have a 1982 VW Rabbit Convertible as a "toad" and it runs great! Love it but I can hardly wait to see the new beetle coming out this fall.

Tell me something about towing the V-dub. Do you tow it on a tow-dolly or 4 down?

Tow it with all four tires on the ground with a "Brake Buddy" system inside and a "Blue Ox" tow bar.

Hi TinCrumpet, hope all is well with your son. Wow, a VW Transporter? Please don't tell me from the early 60's??? I'll be a jealous one if so! After the Airstream, a 23 window Microbus would be my ultimate 'ride'! Thanks, Derek

I wonder which one would have a harder time crossing the Continental Divide...

crumpet point can be up to 12'00 feet...it''s a really huge tow and can be 10 to 15mph...just don't be in hurry(won't do any good), and prepare yourself for the fingered signs you used to use when you were young and caught behind...far as I'm concerned, I'm in front...m

Thanks, Derek
