Battery Controller is intelligent, but me....Not so much!
I purchased a new Intellipower 9200 with charge wizard for my 87 290 Motor home. The old Univolt was humming so loud it was hard to sleep! It has a very simple hook up. Red to positive and white to ground and bear copper to earth. Simple, right? NOT! Now I have a black wire on the distro panel that is hooked to a 40 amp breaker fuse. It says it's the battery charge. Where do I hook in this wire?

I would guess directly to the battery.
Probably for better regulation or voltage sensing for charging than you can get through the coach DC bus.
I'm sure on the other side it is already connected to the battery. On the user side it needs to go into the charger (?) Is black always a positive sign?
