Backup camera

34.5
Has anyone updated their camera system with a newer color system? My question being the wiring. I am sure there is power at the camera but will the camera signal carry over the old cable to the newer monitor. I would assume changing the ends to compatable plug. Rewiring looks to be a huge project.

No problem using the existing wiring, just change the ends to what you need. I used an Alpine in the 325LE, and I just bought the same for the 370LE. I used the original camera housing and removed the 5 lb. original camera. See detailed pictures of the install in my post It's Never Done. Regards, Bob

Thanks Bob

You are correct in your post. There is always one more thing to do. I am getting there however.
