Auto-lock Feature

Not sure what to do at this point but I would like to disable the "Auto-Lock" feature my moho seems to have. I was able to learn the code for the elecrtonic keypad that unlocks the door, but 2 times now I have gone out to out MOHO and discovered the door deadbolted shut. I can now enter the code to unlock the door but am confused as to why it is locking itself in the first place. Any Ideas????

Buttercup,
Do you have a manual lock from the inside? We don't have the keypad, just a Schlage deadbolt, but occasionally the manual handle from the inside drops down(gravitationally) enough to lock it...we have resorted to using rubber bands to hold the handle up when we are stationary for awhile...I would try to fix what appears to be a simple mechanism, but am afraid that my talents would make it worse
We also now have a spare door key hidden in...well, hidden...climbing in a window is not an easy project, even when there is a window left unlatched.

We do have an exterior touch-keypad thing and I was able to locate the code from the controlbox located under the gally sink. I read that the keypad will only unlock the door. It will not lock it.
I do not think it is dropping gravitationally because it is a little stiff to mov in the first place. It seems like something, perhaps the resident mouse we seem to have, is causing the lock to activate. The manual does not have any information about it that I could find. It just locks...
